Exhibition plans for the MEERESMUSEUM

With the newly designed entrance via the west portal into the Katharinenhalle, visitors' view opens up into the vaults of the nave.

The new exhibitions stage the freely hanging exhibits in such a way that the spatial effect of the former hall church is significantly preserved.

Exhibits important to the history of the building, such as the polar bear, octopus, fin whale and leatherback turtle, appear in a new setting. There will be a total of four new exhibition areas equipped with modern media and new exhibits.
